Boulder AI is a complete Unity game engine package consisting of two parts Boulder AI + Difficulty AI. What we’re providing for developers is a dynamic AI solution for 2d mobile games as showcased in our flagship title Boulder Attack. This artificial intelligence will monitor how the player interacts with your game then it’ll make adjustments in the background (either decreasing difficulty or increasing it) to keep people engaged. If a player keeps quitting early on but they keep coming back it might try to redirect there attention, keep things fresh and potentially prevent them from leaving again.
A similar system to this was recently patented by EA Games after we had already began development, so you could say Boulder is the first game difficulty AI script of its kind.
Boulder AI section of this package can serve as a general AI script for any 2D free falling objects. Weather its vertical, horizontal or inverted vertical/horizontal movement. It utilizes Unity’s tween library with DOTween for smooth animation while maintaining optimal performance. This also includes mobile touch interaction with the free falling objects.
Difficulty AI section of this package will monitor the player, observe game settings/player progression and it’ll start making small tweaks as data is accumulated. The standard Easy, Normal, Hard difficulty settings are included both as a standalone and embedded with the difficulty AI system.
